Is there an admission charge? Yes, there is a small admission fee of $5.00 which includes admission to the seminars.

I've never been to a large Job Expo what can I expect? First bring lots of resumes with you...and plan to stop by as many booths as you can. Remember the employers are there waiting for you to come and see them.

How can I tell what jobs are open at the various companies? First you need to visit the HOW TO MAKE THE EXPO WORK FOR YOU session. Here is where a BPW member will walk you through the positions the companies are looking to fill. But be aware that these can change. Visit every booth. Many of these human resource people know each other and they may have a lead on another job for you!

What are the hours? The Expo opens at 10am and closes at 5pm. Come early and stay for the day. Give yourself time to plan your job search and to attend some of the hour long sessions.

Are there seminars too? Yes, and they are included with your admission fee of $5.00. There are 4 planned sessions lasting about an hour. They will cover many topics for job seekers including ideas on finding a job.

Can I pay by check at the door? Yes. Cash or checks are fine. We just do not take credit cards .

What shall I bring to the Expo? Come armed with many resumes.

How shall I dress for the Expo? Dress as if you are going on an interview for a job you really want! Make that first impression a lasting one!
